TECNA zero-gravity food industry balancers are designed for extreme working environments such as food and beverage, meat processing, dairy, bakery and confectionery, and industrial washing and sanitizing. The rust-proof and stainless steel exterior and interior materials prevent oxidation and chemical aggression from soaps, detergents, and other harsh substances.
Balancer models 9354RL – 9359RL feature an aluminum housing with special high-strength Rilsan ® treatment, food grade rope guide, shock absorber, and wire cap, NSF-H1 certified food grade grease, and rust-proof stainless steel wire rope with a capacity of 8.8 – 55.1 lbs. (4.0 – 25.0 kg) and a stroke length of 78.7 in (2000 mm).
TECNA zero-gravity balancers use a conical drum, calibrated to provide constant upward tension that counterbalances the weight of the suspended tool or load. This achieves a floating neutral support where gravity is negated, allowing near-effortless positioning, while maintaining the operator’s last position.
