TECNA nylon rope retractor balancers have a nylon or aluminum housing, and support the tool or load on a polypropylene or Dyneema® wire rope. The synthetic rope is designed to extend and retract easily from the balancer housing, allowing the operator a full range of motion. Furthermore, the synthetic rope reduced drifting, catching, and strain.
TECNA nylon rope retractor balancers – 9246NY, 9347NY, 9348NY, 9349NY, and 9350NY are equipped with a new device enabling the user to stop the stroke by carrying out a simple operation on the load.

TECNA nylon cable / wire rope retractor balancers are designated “NY” or “LNY” (example: TECNA 9300NY and 9346LNY Retractor Balancer).
Balancers models 9346LNY – 9350NY are equipped with a stop device allowing to stop the load in intermediate positions of the stroke, about every 3.94 in. (100 mm). The stop device can be activated and deactivated at the operator’s choice.
